How to Apply Cluster Lashes at Home (Step-by-Step)

Cluster lashes give you a salon-style lash look without a salon appointment. Once you have done it a couple of times, a full set takes a few minutes. Here is the method we recommend for every Liore Lash kit.

What you need

Every Liore Lash 5-in-1 kit includes everything below, so you don't need to buy anything extra:

  • 120 lash clusters in mixed lengths (8–16 mm)
  • Bond & Seal
  • Cluster remover
  • Applicator tweezers

Before you start: prep

Start with clean, dry lashes. Remove mascara and any oily makeup or skincare around the eyes — oil is the most common reason clusters lift early. Curl your natural lashes if you like a lifted look.

Before you glue anything, hold a few clusters under your lashes to choose your lengths. Most people use shorter clusters in the inner corner, longer ones in the middle or outer corner, depending on the look.

Step 1 — Bond

Brushing a thin layer of bond under the natural lashes

Apply a thin coat of Bond to the underside of your natural lashes, from the root to about halfway. Let it go tacky for a few seconds. A thin layer works better than a thick one.

Step 2 — Place

Picking up a lash cluster with tweezers

Pick up a cluster with the tweezers by the tips, not the band. Place it under your natural lashes, about 1–2 mm away from your lash line — never on the skin. Work from the outer corner inwards and leave small gaps between clusters for a natural finish.

Step 3 — Press

Gently squeeze your natural lashes and the cluster together with the tweezers so they bond. Repeat across the eye, then do the other eye. Many people find it easier to alternate eyes to keep both sides even.

Step 4 — Seal

Applying a light coat of seal to the lashes

Brush a light coat of Seal through the lashes. This removes stickiness and helps the set last. Avoid water, steam and oily products for the first 24 hours.

Never pull clusters off. Apply the cluster remover along the bond, wait a moment until the bond softens, then gently slide the clusters off with the tweezers. Wash your lashes afterwards.

Beginner tips

  • Use less bond than you think — too much makes clusters slide and clump.
  • Place clusters under the lashes, never on the eyelid.
  • Your first set takes longer. By the third time it gets much quicker.
