Best Lash Extension Glue: Which One Lasts Longest?

Best Lash Extension Glue: Which One Lasts Longest?

Choosing a lash extension adhesive is mostly about one thing: matching the drying speed to your hands and your room. A glue that is too fast for your speed causes poor attachment; a glue that is too slow for an experienced artist slows the whole appointment. Here is how the three Liore Lash adhesives compare and who each one is made for.

Which lash glue lasts the longest?

EverLast has the longest retention in the range — up to 10 weeks — and the fastest cure at 0.5–1 second. Because it sets almost instantly, it suits experienced lash artists who place each extension in one confident movement. See EverLast.

What glue do most professionals use day to day?

Mega Hold is the all-rounder: 1–2 second dry time and retention of up to 8 weeks. It gives enough working time to adjust placement while still keeping appointments efficient, which is why it suits most classic, hybrid and volume sets. See Mega Hold.

Best glue for beginners and sensitive clients

Ultra Sensitive dries in 4–5 seconds and has the lowest level of fumes in the range, so it is the most comfortable choice for clients with sensitive eyes and for artists who are still building speed. It is latex-free and lasts up to 4 weeks. See Ultra Sensitive.

How to get the best retention from any adhesive

  • Control humidity. Fast adhesives cure best at 50–70% RH. Too dry and they cure slowly; too humid and they can shock-cure and turn brittle.
  • Prep the natural lashes. Oil and residue are the main reason extensions fall early. A lash primer removes them and improves the bond — Liore Lash Primer is designed for exactly this step.
  • Use a fresh glue dot every 15–20 minutes and shake the bottle well before each appointment.
  • Store adhesive correctly: cap tightly, keep it upright in a cool, dry place and use it within the recommended time after opening.
  • Match glue to speed, not the other way round. If you see stickies or extensions that slide, try a slower adhesive.

Removing extensions safely

For corrections and full removals, a gel remover stays where you put it and doesn't run into the eyes. Liore Lash Speedy Gel Remover dissolves the bond in about 60 seconds.

All Liore Lash adhesives are for professional salon use only. Always patch-test new clients and follow the instructions on the product.
